Thomas the Tank

I just had to get some pictures of our little Tommy. Poor thing has probably been a little neglected this past week or two or three. There has been a lot of craziness in our home, but he sure is a trooper and as you can see in the pictures he loves to smile. He is smiling all day as long as he is not in the car. He adores Caroline and Rex even though they are in his face all day long. This little guy is almost into 3-6 mo. clothing at two and a half months and yes he does have a neck, but I have only seen it once.

Ode to the fourth

I love the fourth of July. I love spending time with my family and there is always something magical about all of the fireworks and the celebration of America. We had such a great holiday and I am trying to cherish every moment these next few weeks.
Our family went up to Silver Dollar City with some friends on the third. It was a perfect day, with a little rain and then overcast the rest of the day. You really can't complain when you are able to walk right onto the rides. The following day we had a barbecue with our neighbors, the Bolivars. They have the sweetest family and we will miss them so much. We then went over to the Millerbergs to light off fireworks. Greatest part of Arkansas, you can light any type of fire work you would like. It was amazing to see the whole neighborhood lighting up the sky. Nathan and all the guys maybe had too much fun with fire. We love our friends here and it was so fun to celebrate this day with all of them.

Oh how I love my friends!

Doesn't this little guy look like his dad?

Up close and personal
Caroline is really into jokes right now. Her specialty is the "Why did the chicken cross the road?" jokes. Here is an example:
Caroline: Why did the chicken cross the road?
Mom: Why?
Caroline: So it could walk across the street!
Caroline: Mom, you need to laugh now.
We have got a little jokester on our hands.
