Sun, Rain, Ice and Snow

The weather is a bit crazy here. It can be 50+ and then the next day it will drop twenty degrees. We have been getting a little bit of everything this week. It started out pretty nice and then the rain came and then the ice came through the night and then we woke up and found about a foot of snow outside. This is the most snow this place has seen in years and I am not sure that people know how to drive in the snow either. Nathan was able to stay home on Friday s0 we took advantage of it. We played outside, watched movies, played games and stayed comfy, cozy with our hot chocolate. We have had so much fun, but now I am hoping it melts soon and the sun comes to stay.

Happiness in Arkansas

So I really want to update about Christmas, but that will have to come another time. Sometimes I really hate playing catch up and today is a day where I want to write about what's going on right now...
Not much. Isn't that great! Our weather is absolutely beautiful. We have been able to go play at the playground with light jackets on. You can't beat 50 degree weather in January. I love my family. I am getting complete joy out of watching my kids interact with one another. We are also blessed to have another sweet baby boy coming into our home. I have an amazing husband, who works so hard to provide physically and spiritually for us. We have friends who are like family. Not to mention we have the greatest family who we miss so much and who spoil us too much.
There are hard times each day, but right now at this moment, I have complete gratitude for my life. I am blessed.
