Our trip to Utah was so much fun. It feels like we were busy the whole time, but it was well worth the the napless days and at times, ornery nights. My heart was so happy to see my kids interact with cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. It's these kind of moments that make me ache for Utah. Lagoon, liberty park, the dam house, Rigby pool, sandboxes, temple, reunions, friends and family made this trip really special and an amazing memory. Not to mention, Nathan surprised me by flying out and being with us for a few days. He is an amazing husband and Father and it made the trip that much better with him there. While it was a fun trip, Caroline kept saying "I miss my brown house!". We did miss our brown house and it is definitely nice to come back to "our stuff". Caroline is now making sure we know that the stairs, the bed the kitchen the car and everything else is hers. The slide show and pics are mainly for family, but I hope that all can enjoy and see what an amazing family we have and how much we already miss you all. We can't wait to be with the Rigbys in a few weeks.

The good, the bad, the ugly!

Starting late Spring, Nathan and I decided to get a truck load of dirt so that we could start a vegetable garden in the back. We spent hours digging out a corner in our yard so that it would all be ready once the dirt came. Well, little did we know that a truck full of dirt meant a huge, gigantic truck load of dirt. So for weeks we had a small mountain sitting in our driveway. After filling up our garden, we noticed that this project didn't even dent the mountain so we were forced to do a few more projects than we expected. Some of our projects have worked out well while others have completely bombed. Here's some pics of our projects.

The first of three trees we put in the back. Our pretty Dogwood isn't so pretty anymore.

This one is thriving through the heat. Crossing our fingers that is survives.

Our flowering Cherry is not so merry.

Nathan dug out a huge strip behind our house. Eventually well get some bushes in.

We created a big flower garden in the front. We are really happy with it. Just a little more mulch and it will look pretty good.

We also made a flower garden on the side of our house. Our vision is to have ivy growing up the side of the house and bushes to hide all the electrical boxes and pipes.

Here's our vegetable garden. I am really proud of it, I have never grown a garden before. Don't worry all our tomatoes will ripen right when I leave for Utah.

My first pepper is just about ready to be picked. Wahoo!

Here's a full pic of the garden. It's coming along.

My two little love bugs. We really do love these two.!
Any suggestions on how to keep up a garden would be greatly appreciated. Also if you know how to care for trees, we need any help we can get. So I am not the greatest gardener in the world, but we are definitely having fun with it.

Spreading the love to all the men in my life!

I just wanted tell all the men in my life how much I love and appreciate all that they have done and are doing for me.
I have the most incredible husband who loves the Lord, his wife and his children. I learn something new about him everyday and it makes me love him more and more He is the most amazing person and I am so thankful that I get to spend the rest of eternity with this man. Thanks Nathan, for being so perfect for me!
My Dad Morris is nothing less than incredible himself. I have never met a person who has so much love and compassion and who is so willing to serve at any time. He has taught me all about life and to make righteous decisions. He is a person that Nathan and I aspire to be like. I love you Dad.
My other Dad Rigby is beyond amazing. He is loyal, hardworking and loving. He has done so much to help put our little family on our feet and we truly appreciate all he has done. He has always been Nathan's hero and best friend and can't thank him enough for raising such a great son. I love you.
My brothers are amazing as well. My brothers have always been so protective and concerned for my happiness. I love that they care so much and I am grateful for their examples. My brothers I have recently acquired in the last few years are just as great. They both work so hard and love their families. They also are such good examples to me and they keep life entertaining in the family. I love you all so much.
I hope you all have a Happy Fathers Day. Thanks for being amazing men in my life.

I wish I had pictures of all of you, but new computer, no pics.

And we're back...to Branson

We went to Branson a few years ago and I vowed I would never go back. It kind of felt like Las Vegas for old people. Thanks to some convincing by friends and free tickets we made our way back up to the old country. We went to an amusement park the whole time and absolutely loved it. It was one of the best parks we have been to, not necessarily because of the rides, but the atmosphere was so great not to mention it was really kid friendly. We are definitely going back, as long as it is to the park.
I am already able to tell somewhat what my kids will be like when they get older. Caroline is a little bit more timid, but a bundle of energy. She loves to have fun, but will make sure it's safe before she tries something. Rexy is our no fear child. He will do anything and because of it he gets injure quite a bit. This held true at the park. There was fun fountain area for the kids and Rex went right in having water shoot into his face. Caroline wanted dad to hold her and wasn't quite sure about the whole water thing. They have two very different personalities, but we sure do love them.

Caroline was in Heaven the whole time

First ever floam wig! Handsome, don't you think?

Summer Love

If the weather is beautiful why not spend it outside? We are taking advantage of the nice weather by going over to the pool. Caroline has found a few handsome fellas that she loves to be with and Rexy still loves eating the sand. Isn't Summer time great?

Too much fun

This month has gone by so fast, I feel like I can't keep up. Nathan and I have been working in our yard non-stop trying to get our gardens in, but the rain has put a damper on things many a day. We were desperate to get our garden in, so we worked through the rain. Our kids decided to go play in their sandbox while we worked and this is what we found after awhile. I think we gave our kids at least three baths that day.

All of Rigby kids came in town, the only one not here was Ryan and he definitely was missed. It was so much fun to have everybody together, there is nothing better than family. While they were here we were able to do some fun things. The first swim of the Summer was among the fun things on the list. It was a bit cold, but babies don't care all that much anyway!

Here is Rexy and Rylin just cruising along on the big wheels.
We also went to our favorite zoo in the whole world. The kids enjoyed the zoo almost as much as the adults. We have found that Caroline is a little timid when it comes to animals and Rexy has no fear. He would let the goat eat his shirt and he would attack the kangaroo's. Little Rylin wasn't sure what to make of all of it. Thanks for the fun times we miss you all so much.
