Demolition Date Night
This last weekend Nathan and I went on one of the best dates ever. We went to the demolition derby with a few of our friends. It's times likes these that I remember how much I love my husband and how much fun we can have. Not only did we find pure enjoyment out of cars hitting each other, but watching those red necks was a great sight too. Only here do you see guys smoking on top of banged up cars where gas may be leaking.(Hazard!!!) Nathan had to buy a turkey leg to add to the ambiance. It actually was quite tasty.
We absolutely love our children and find complete joy from raising them(most of the time). Rexy found a new girlfriend, she comes over to our house every Friday and they will just look at each other and smile. It's pretty cute. Caroline loves getting into anything and everything. She makes me laugh about ten times per day. I never knew a child could make you laugh, but make you so upset all at the same time. I do love her so much.

The Monson Mash was a success
This last weekend we had Nick and Michelle here. It was such a blast to be with them. We have missed them so much. Although it was a fast trip it was fun and relaxing. Nathan and Nick went crazy with the fire works having contest to see who could light there firework the fastest. Caroline couldn't get enough of Soba, she would follow that little dog all over the place. Michelle just looks beautiful don't you think? And Rexy was as chill as ever. That kid rarely cries, he is amazing. Thanks for coming Monson Mash. We already want you to come back and visit.

The whole gang.
This guy really loves his kids.

Our first visitors
For our nations Independence day we had the fine opportunity of sharing the glorious occasion with Brett Spencer and Jessica Odom Reese. I don't know if you know these two, but it is always a fun time when your with the Reese family. When Brett and Nathan get together it's like comedy central. I think I was laughing the whole time they were here. For the fourth we went up to a little city called Eureka Springs and had lunch and walked around. After Eureka we went swimming at our pool and then Brett and Nathan put on a firework show that could top all others. Our cute little neighbors raced home from their activities just so they could see the show. Basically all fireworks are legal in Arkansas so you step outside and there are huge fireworks going off all around you. We had bought all these fireworks thinking it was going to be awesome. We even had music going to set the mood. Turns out you need to spend more than a hundred dollars to get the good stuff. It was a fun memory and we had a lot of laughs that will never be forgotten. Thanks for coming Brett and Jess. We love you.

This and That
So in terms of the world nothing special has happened to our family, but for our family some pretty fun stuff has been going on.
1. Nathan cooked a delicious meal for us the other night that was not tacos, strogannoff(sp) or spaghetti. He was watching Rachel Ray on the food channel and decided to be ambitious. The meal turned out to be awesome. I will give the recipe at the end of my post.
2. Rexy is now sleeping eight or nine hours at night
3. We planted our first tree in our yard and it is my favorite kind of tree. A Magnolia.
4. Caroline has discovered crayons and pens. Whenever we are not in the room she is trying to color on the furniture. If anyone has some good ideas on how to discipline with love please let me know and that is serious.
5. My favorite holiday is just around the corner. The 4th of July or better known as independence day.
6. Nathan only has one more day in the store. Whahoooo!!!!
7. We were called as nursery leaders in our ward. I love kids.
8. I finally was able to run three miles. My goal is to run a marathon before my next child.
9. I took the picture of the pool from my yard to entice Marcus or anyone to come visit us.
10. Caroline is into shoes. She will walk everywhere in my shoes. She is going to be a girly, girl. What do I d0?!

Chicken stuffed with Blue cheese and spinach.
4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken
1-2 C. of crumbled blue cheese
1-2 C. freshly chopped spinach
8 pieces of uncooked thick bacon.
Preheat oven to 350. Make slits in the chicken so you are able to stuff them. combine cheese and spinach. Mix with hand. Fill chicken with desired amount of mixture. Wrap one-two pieces of bacon around each piece of chicken. Place on baking sheet. Cook for twenty minutes. Enjoy!
